harvest help

from $50.00

harvest help is a bespoke service for folks at any experience level who would like recipes, tutorials, support, and advice preserving summer’s bounty so that they can eat seasonally all year long. “harvest” could be the spoils of your veggie garden, the overflow from your csa, or very intentional purchases made from local farmers with the intention of putting them up for the winter.

harvest help includes detailed recipes and instructions, info about storage and preservation methods, and resources regarding equipment and best practices in pdf form, as well as advice and/or tutorials by phone, zoom, or in person if applicable. I have over 10 years experience putting up food for myself and my family, 10 years experience as a food educator, and have been cooking professionally, in one way or another, for over half my life! I believe that everyone has the innate skills and knowledge to provide for themselves and their family in a way that supports their community, land, and ecosystem, and that one of the best ways to do all that is to eat seasonally and be less reliant on corporate food systems… so let’s build up your stores this season!

currently I’m offering harvest help in packages of increasing time— the basic help is one 1-hour session (phone or zoom or in person if applicable) and a pdf with all the tips and resources I can offer. all packages include a 15 minute exploratory call prior to the 1-hour help session. if you’d like to make a greater commitment now, you can purchase harvest help for 2, 3, or 4 hour-long sessions— these are 1-hour sessions once a week or once a month until the package is fulfilled. once you have purchased a harvest help package, I will email you to schedule a time to chat.

read more under the “offerings” tab above and please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions before purchasing!
